Eligibility criteria and Requirements​

  • A foreign student from outside the EU or EEA is required for the position
  • An undergraduate degree or higher is required of the applicant student
  • English is the predominant language of instruction at most Finnish colleges; thus, the candidate must be proficient in writing, speaking, and understanding. For IELTS (6.5+), TOEFL (90+), and PTE (58+)
  • Applicants are not eligible for this award if they have already attended school in Finland
  • The conditions set forth by the program or school to which the candidate is seeking must be met
